Trees, Furniture and Week 27!

So we are into our 27th week and with it comes Christmas!!! We had a wonderful day got lots of new baby clothes, bedding for the crib and gift certificates to outfit mommy once her lovely curves have dropped and drupped down to her old/new self :) Christmas day we were officially 90 days and counting can you blieve it! we went from 300 some odd days to now less than 90. It makes me so sad thinking that soon she will be out in the world taking on all the amazing things thrown her way. I kinda like the fact that she is protected in my big belly and I can make sure nothing bad happens. I think the rest of our lives will be spent worrying. Worrying about the scrapes and bruises, worrying about the first everything and then worrying about her being out of the house...No wonder parents go through empty nest I get sad thinking about it already and its 18+ years away. ugh ok new topic.

So yesterday we spent an amazing day cleaning and putting xmas stuff away in preperation to the new furniture coming... My mom came over and between her and Jake got rid of our old bed moved the sleigh bed into our room and picked up the babies furniture. While they were gone I accomplished moving a mountain so that they had room to put all this new stuff. And oh my the furniture didn't seem quite this big in the 3000+ sqft store that we bought it in but wowie its big. At least we have it now and it can start to get assembled so that I can start organizing the room. I should totally take pics so that you all can see exactly how much stuff can be stuffed into a closet but that would be totally embarrasing :) so sorry you don't get to see that but i will be posting pics of the progress with the Tree!

Did I tell you all about the babies room??? Not sure so anywho we decided on the bedding its Janaca by Cocalo its a girly jungle theme which is totally us. I am a huge Elephant fan and Jake loves Girafes and then most of you know our nickname is Monkey (thats a really funny story how that came about...I'll try to remember to post the story) so any how the bedding is perfect for us! So we took a color out of the bedding and painted one wall (its sort of a Merlot color, also perfect since I love wine) and slightly off center there will be a big tree that Jake is producing with tape at the moment and I am sitting on the floor monitoring :)I think he will have it primed today and painted tomorrow so I am so excited to see how it turns out. So because the tree is off center we will have leaves falling off the tree on the one side and maybe some birds or something flying by the other corner. Any ideas let me know. Oh and the tree is going to be white so that it totally stands out. So that is on the accent wall. The wall with the window will for now just have the dresser, but I think eventually I might find a small bookcase to place under the window. And opposite the window is the crib. Above the crib we will paint her name (name is still being kept a secret) I really want to do maybe silver outlined in the melot in Edwardian Script (which is the font we love from our wedding).

Anywho i think this post is probably a little long so stay tuned for the pics of the tree and its progress.

Love you all

growing growing big!

He he I'm laughing at my title so dumb but the smallest little things make me giggle. anywho so indigestion and night sweats are the hottest topic here on Casa De Gonzales :) I eat and feel miserable and then I sit on the couch where I am unable to get up myself without rolling onto the floor to get up its actually quite funny to watch. Tonight J got the babies room painted! so exciting to come home to craziness everywhere and actually happy to see that the house is a disaster because I know what that means... the room is painted!! I will take pics and get them up here asap but first I;ll post the before pics which is hard to understand but I'll post them.

Anywho I feel like this week marked a big week for me, actually the baby she must have been having a good growth spurt because holy heck I woke up and bam! huge! I took off my sweatshirt today at work (ps all my sweatshirts are super tight and almost don't zip up) and this girl was like dang girl when did that happen. hehehe aww I love my big belly I swear I could just stare at my belly for days I love looking at the indents of where my body ends and she begins! its the greatest feeling in the world!
Oh and behind me is the part of the room that is going to get painted, or got painted today. so once I get those pics i will post them.

week 25 bring on the heat!

ok quick little post and a pic... night sweats...um again somehow i missed the heads up on this one! Its like sleeping in the dead of winter with the fan on high and laying on top of all the blankets sweating as though its the middle of summer. I swear you get up to find that it looks like you just got done running a marathon yuck! Anywho thats the latest and greatest thing going on this week.

xmas is here...well kinda

So happy I came home to a huge box on my door step with all my presents! took Barley for a quick walk and then got them all wrapped! yep shopping is done and wrapping is done and they are all in piles of when we will be seeing everyone so we are ready to go!

So Steve went to Canada last week to see our beautiful new baby boy Nick! which i'm still waiting to see the pics!!! but she sent home the biggest suit case full of baby girl clothes. seriously i just kept digging and digging and finally hit the bottom the baby's room is a total disaster, I have boxes of maternity wear that doesn't fit... Baby clothes everywhere...a pack in play that i'm trying to figure out... baby swing...baby mattress...queen size bed...xmas presents... seriously disaster! I have this week to get it in some type of order so that my wonderful husband (hopefully he's reading this :) can get the room painted the following week so we can set up the furniture the week after. (was that a good hint hint?)

Still sick by the way today is officially week 2 but i think we are on the down turn of this awful thing.Honestly this may be a little too much info but my boobs are heavy enough do i really need to have enough congestion to feel like i have an elephant on my chest too! seriously. did any of you see Kendra's baby shower (from the girls next door?) I guess I can be thankful my boobs aren't that big they are like 2 of mine on one side. I couldn't even imagine!

Had Lisa Gonzales' baby shower yesterday (12/12)it was fun seeing her up and moving around (Sophia didn't give her that luxury) she looked amazing all baby and it was so nice talking about pregnancy and charlie horses and putting on shoes and just all those little things that you totally take for granted. we took a belly pic so hopefully i will get that from her and get it posted up here soon so you all can see what 25 vs 37 weeks looks like :) Big Steve is going to be joining the world on Thursday around 3pm which I can't wait to see the pics of him and all his hair I'm sure he has a ton.

Quick Happy bday to Melissa Gonzales!!!
7 more work days until i'm off for a good week and a half!

24 and sick!

so short little post about how bad it completely sucks being sick and pregnant. honestly you can barely take anything and what you can take does diddily. I'm already up all night p'ing and trying to get comfy and now i'm up because i can't breathe! Its awful I've called the dr's and they told me that basically no fever = no dr appt. ugh! at least i have the next few Friday's off so that i can try to recover from this never ending head cold. If any of you have this the only thing that truely helps is waking up and taking a shower it clears you up and you can hopefully get a few more hours of sleep!

One thing accomplished during this yucky time is I got all my xmas shopping done! thank goodness for online shopping! now hopefully it will all arrive in time.
